Data showing clear airway apneas: central apnea or soft palate collapse? Data inc.
Hi there,
I would be very grateful for some advice. I am new to CPAP only been a month or so, I'm still working things out. I mainly have an issue with soft palate collapse, which was waking me up almost immediately without CPAP and making life miserable. Now that I have the CPAP I'm still waking up most mornings very tired, but it's not diabolical like without it. I've just learnt to look at the data and I'm seeing that I'm mainly getting clear airway events and I can't work out whether it's because my soft palate is still collapsing and I need to adjust my minimum pressure, or I'm having central apneas. My EPR is set at 3 so I'm going to turn that down to 2 tonight after reading a similar post, but hoping someone can have a look at my data and please give me some insights. I would be so so so grateful! I'll attach an overview shot from last night and then some zoomed in of the specific clear airway apneas. I think this is fairly typical of most night's data, but can supply more if required. Thank you!
