Actually they only have a very small presence here, but I've seen them a lot in other countries (headquartered in France). Just to grow my hat in the ring, we use Amsoil synthetic. It seems to work, but we only have 150,000 miles on the Yaris at this point, so too early to make any snap judgements. I will see how it's doing at 300K. For now it runs perfectly (had to change the plugs last month) and burns no appreciable amount of oil between changes.

EDIT: Plug comment meant, we have changed the tires three times, battery twice and plugs once - so far, that is the total maintenance on the thing.

I am not a Medical professional and I don't play one on the internet.
