I like it a lot better than the non-heated. I like that the hose is smaller and more flexible also.

I have the heated tube on my DS960TS.
Heated tube is all I have ever used and see no reason to change. I did discover the reason my PRS humidifier runs dry more often than my old H5i. The H5i holds 60 CCs more water in the tank. That makes the difference for me, but ALS I no longer have the Resmed S9 Autoset. Onward and upward. Aging is not for sissies.

Received my upgrade kit today. It took all of about 5 minutes to install and that was because of poor lighting. It came with an 80 watt power supply, a heated hose and a replacement humidifier cover.
To say it was easy to install would be an understatement. Here's hoping for a better humifier experience Apapuser
