Thought this was an interesting T.E.D. talk about what the brain does while we are sleeping and - possibly - a link to Alzheimer's if sleep is lacking:

One more researched reason why we should stick with our xPAP therapy - and insist upon getting the best sleep we need.

Hope this hasn't been posted recently - I couldn't find it on "search" in Apnea Board.
