Yes you can, and the breaths following the green line are also flow limited.

so far, I haven't seen it in Geologeek's charts.

hi, Sheepless

...as you have might have been following on my case (currently with respiratory pretty much 100% worked out), after many back and forths, I now consider my PLMS (turning into to RLS imediately during awakenings/wake ups) as the more episodic type, rather than cycle type. I would be here, within the sudden-groaning arousal/awakenings/wake ups described on this paper.... https://academic.oup.com/sleep/article/4...63/2731733

I am on yet another steep learning curve, but i am sure some answers are there to be found........

Thank you for listing the make and model. That's Honor Band 5 I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.

On my FitBit Alta HR when I go to the sleep graph I can touch on any displayed item ie deep, REM, light sleep, it then displays the time for that occurrence. I can then go to OSCAR and verify that or match it to my breathing pattern and info. I mostly use my Flow Rate and Minute Vent charts. I've been doing it so long that I seldom even need my FitBit anymore as I can see the stages by the pattern.

I cannot find where that is available in the Honor Band 5??? (touch screen time display) Makes no sense to me.

Is that the case? Can you display the individual times for the category of sleep?

Thanks ever so much for taking a look!

Unfortunately we have had another bereavement in the family so i have not had the chance to get back on and respond sooner.

I need to look at my data again to confirm what i believe i can see when i combine my sleep tracker, CPAP, oximeter and video recordings and see if there are any adjustments i can make with the current settings to limit flow limitations as far as possible while i formulate a plan to go back to the sleep clinic.

At present i can see that if i am able to sleep on my back or on my side but learning backwards i have an increase in apnea events which are recorded by the machine and increase my AHI.  If i restrict my sleeping position to force me to sleep on my side i can get my AHI down to 0.4.........

This would be great if we were looking at the numbers but i still feel awful on waking and i believe that my sleep tracker may actually be sort of acurate in that every night my sleep is disturbed to the point where i have little deep sleep continuity. the oximeter data shows pulse changes and spo2 changes at similar times to that of the varying sleep cycles and the CPAP data also show periods of flow limited breathing at these times.

Video data is amazing but i need to check on my timings to make sure i have not got it wrong.......i believe i am experiencing flow limitations that are disturbing me and forcing me to make a move, which general ends up putting me onto my back and i have more traditional apnea events........

I nearly missed it but i can see in the video if i speed it up (well move the slider back and forth quickly) that i have repetitive movement of my feet and my left hand, or some fingers clasp close and open.

I have played about on a spreadsheet to be able to input a time on the cpap or sleep tracker data and it gives me the equivalent time on the video so i can quickly look back and forth........it would be nice if all recording devices could sychronise themselves - but of course they all have a different time so i thought a spreadsheet would help me.

the only thing that has disapointed me so far are CA events as i go to where they are.........and there is absolutely nothing to see.

But i do need to go back over the data to just make sure i am seeing things clearly.

Thanks all and i trust you and yours are keeping safe.

Yes that indeed is the bracelet i am using.

I can hover over each segment of the sleep data, but just wished that i could download the data in a csv or other format i could get into a spreadsheet...........

I wont be doing this for every single night but i have been physically inputting the data so i could try and cross reference to video and cpap...........But when there are so many changes it gets a bit difficult when you have a migraine and a million other moans and groans.....

but for example this is my night on the 5th march:

I mentioned periodic limb movement earlier based on indications in your flow rate. it's consistent with how you describe your video, continuing to feel awful, & persistent flow limitations. in my experience, pressure will not help these flow limitations and a pharmaceutical solution must be found.

Hi there and yes you did in fact mention this as i was just reading back through as i remembered you pointing it out.  It is clear as day when you see the video in fast motion, but i would not have seen it otherwise.

I just wish this was the sole reason for the disturbances as it only appears to happen when i am on my side and not when i am on my back..........but that might be because my flow is further impeeded and im having the OA/H/CA events that my body cant also do the limb stuff?

I dont know, ill have another sort through the data and post some charts over the weekend and take it from there.......cant see my doctors giving me any more drugs, they are already a bit  Dont-know as i have drugs from gastroenterology, neurology, psychiatry and pain management dosing me up to get me through the day.

But lets see if flipping the situation might work to get me off all that other stuff??

RE: Technically Treated - To my core Tired
after optimizing my settings, most of my remaining events occur between (& I assume are a result of) limb movements. plm drugs are necessary for me but some folks treat low iron or magnesium successfully with supplements (oddly, my levels of those are already high). idk if/how position & plm are related.

RE: Technically Treated - To my core Tired
hi, Geol

....yes, it appears you would have lots of data to go through, maybe even more than needed. Getting back to them quite often bring new insights;

....sleep clinic: it may worth; however, for me, I am afraid it is hard to believe would bring something you already don't see with OSCAR and acessories;

....positions: do you use soft collar. It appears always add something good on therapy (avoid chin tucking, mas leak, ...);

....Flow limitations/apneas/hypopneas leading to moves and sleep disruption: quite common phenomenon. Easier things to battle with VAUTO machine. First things to clear up before approaching anything else on sleep disrutpion, in my experience. More charts would help....

....PLMS>> arousal-awakenings, if present; indeed, I don't know solution out of medications (however, may be mild stuffs; not necesserarily big shots). More charts would help....

....CA's: I have not seen yet this would have significance in your case.More charts would help....

....tend to believe medications you are on eventually could be dropped once you sort out respiratory issues, and sleep disrutpion in general. Throughout some at least 45 years I use to think I had issues with anxiety, panic, nocoturia/kidneys, depression, and so on.... name a medication!.... Pretty much everything gone last 1 year, with proper assessment and experiencing with the Bilevel VAUTO.... almost a suicider at beggining of 2019, before first good results on April 16 to 17th, 2019, when I experienced the first miracle, while moving from Autoset to VAUTO and started improve FL, hypopneas, MV, TV, etc....

all the best
