I need a new CPAP, looking for a recommendation
Hi all. I have a Resmed 9 for many years and I'm looking into getting a new one. Looking for some recommendations of which unit to buy, and where to buy it from. Ty in advance.

Supplier #2 in the suppliers list at the top of the site is an excellent place to get a machine. I have purchased 2 (one for me and one for my son), they were excellent to deal with, quick delivery. They carry New, Open box and slightly used. We got used machines one with one month use the other with 1 week use. Great machines at lower prices than anywhere else we could find.

As far as the best machine - I favor the Resmed machines.

If you want a CPAP then an airsense S10 AUTOSET (the key here is autoset - many different types that are also in the S10 line. Some of them will not give data needed to see how you are really doing. They only show compliance data.

BiPap
Resmed Aircurve S10 VAUTO again vauto is the key word

Then there are even more expensive pap machines for complex apnea. You need to know if you indeed have a lot of centrals then you may need that type of machine.
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed  Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing

The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet has been the gold standard recommendation on this board for quite a while -- ASSUMING is is the right machine for your needs. ResMed 10 has several models so need to be sure. They also have BiPAP and ASV machines if that is appropriate for your situation. I'm sure one of the bona-fide experts will stop by soon and give a better answer.

You are probably aware that ResMed has recently released the 11. It seems to be functionally the same. You know the one-liner -- "new and improved" isn't always better. Again, the experts can provide better advice.

If you have a recent sleep study, please post a redacted version. That will help the experts.

I recently switched from the Dreamstation to the Resmed AirSense 10 Autoset and can confirm it is amazing.  I loved my Dreamstation and didn't believe I could do better but was wrong.
