The Data Can Be Intimidating
Life is good....again. Thanks to the patience of the more experienced on this forum, I have finally settled into a comfortable zone. Paula you are always a great source of info. Zonk, thanks so much for the link to that Rescan video. That should be required reading....um viewing for noobs.
After figuring out that my original data card was messed up, I started fresh and followed everyone's advice and now I can jump freely from SH to Rescan without incident.
That video really helps in showing you how to drag and drop the items into what ever order you want. AND changing the scales on each item in "tools, options" opens things up. Before several of my graphs just looked like flat lines because the scales were set so broad. Nice to be able to trim those ranges down to your personal data and then you can really start to see some detail.
One observation, me being barely past the noob stage myself, is that in the beginning there is too much data and you have to figure out a few things being most important. At first I obsessed about flow limitation and minute ventilation. Now I mainly look at AHI, events, leaks, pressure range. I know the other data is there if I hit something unusual.
RE: The Data Can Be Intimidating
I would love to have the link you mentioned that went to the ResScan video (zonk supplied). I've about decided to get the ResMed S9 AutoSet device and am trying to become familiar with the software so I can use it to help me go through the adjustment period when I get my first CPAP device next week.
RE: The Data Can Be Intimidating
drmick, here it is. I think I will need to view it several times to get it all. Thanks to ZONK
