The Pet Zone - pics, stories, silliness
A few times little comments have come up about our pets - sometimes going way off-topic in a thread...

So I thought we could have a place where we could talk about our pets (kids) guilt-free, without worry of someone bashing us for talking about the latest funny thing our dog/cat did in our lives.

My current crew consists of three mutts, all rescues as puppies, the youngest is Jack, a 25lb 11 month old Aussie/poodle mix - who gets mad (really mad) if one of the others snaps at him for any reason he doesn't find acceptable. He talks a lot, and mutters to himself all the time.

The easiest way to attach pictures in my opinion is to have an account with a photo sharing service such as Photobucket and paste links here to them using the "Insert Image" icon (The icon looks like mountains with the sun showing.) Paste in the image link into the window that appears.

make them your avatar if you can size it down enough.

EDIT: Or email it to someone on this forum that you trust and see if they can post it for you

The attachment feature is only for CPAP related stuff anyway.

If you want to post an image via link, here is how:

As a member, you are limited to the amount of disk space you can use, so linking photos from (say) Photobucket really is an easy way to do it.

You can also use an image program to shrink them down some so they don't take up much room for folks with slower connections. I use IrfanView.

At the top of just about every forum, there is a "sticky" post that lists the policies and rules specific to that particular forum.

The rules sticky for this Off Topic Forum is here:

http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...STING-HERE

From that post, you'll read the following:

Quote:In addition, in order to conserve bandwidth and server storage space, file and picture attachments (post uploads) that are not related to sleep apnea are prohibited. As an alternative, you may post a link to a file or embed a picture within your post, as long as it is hosted on your own website or on an off-site image hosting service. (for directions on how to do that, click here).
