Tom

Try "juniper". Also, please let me know if this works - I'd like to update our CPAP Manuals page if we can confirm this works.

Thanks.

RE: Transcend
juniper appeared to work. I have not tested yet if the new settings took but I did reach the setup screen. I will report on this machine as I use it.

This machine is VERY small. This is importent for travel, particulary for international air where carry-on is limited to 7KG (15 pounds). It is NOT an APAP, does NOT have the Resmed ability to reduce pressure 1-3cm on exhale but DOES have a ramp.

Since I use a full face mask i cannot use the rehydration feature that is an extra.

As compared to my Resmed, both the machine, the battery and the power supply are considerably smaller and lighter.

Glad the password worked for you
Transcend is a popular little light weight machine
Maybe after you've used the machine for a while if you don,t mind posting a review in " Product Reviews Forum". Thanks

RE: Transcend
I will publish a full review after I use it. However, for international travel here are the actual weights compared to a Resmed S9:
CPAP 13.4oz
Battery 10.0oz
CPAP carry case 8.1 oz
Battery protector .7oz

Procedure: The Transcend carrying case is small and will sling over your shoulder. However, I plan to carry this inside my carryon. Typically there is far more room than the 15 pound limit allows for. If I see carry ons being weighed will take out the entire rig and carry it on separately pleading requirede medical equipment if the object. The total weightfor CPAP, Battery and case is: 24.8 oz. I will add the power supply 10.2 oz in my checked luggage.

However, the battery is so small you could slip it in a pants pocket and the machine small enough that it would fit in a jacket pocket, saving 1/2#.

My Transcend s9 weighs 1# 13.4 ounces and the cheapest, lightest battery I could find was 2.0 pounds and $370. I would need a new carrying case for both together and an estimate of 12oz. Total weight:4# 9.4 oz. i would add 1# 7oz to my checked luggage

Total savings in weight saved was slightly more than 3# in my carry-on and slightly less than 1# in my checked luggage.

Cost for the entire rig is $644 on the web but I received a deal from a local provider for $500.

Regards,
