I find the open nightstand drawer to be the best location when at a motel.

RE: Traveling and CPAP machines
Why take the risk of not waking up some morning because you decided not to use the machine one night?  I have used a cpap machine every night
since I was first diagnosed - way back when.  oldman

Before retiring in 2011, I traveled 50% of the year, mostly by air and car with my trusty machine(s).  There really is no good excuse for not using the machines all night, every night.

RE: Traveling and CPAP machines
As a new C-PAP user, I ended up traveling domestically by air, last month.
Long walks between terminals, etc.

New to this, I thought it would be a pain, and I am often not very patient, but, surprisingly, carrying the extra light bag was not a big deal at all.

Taking it with you in the car would be effortless.
