[Treatment] APAP leak (p10 pillow mask)

Hi all, new here. I’ve started APAP therapy this week, not feeling any better yet. On the sleep report it says my mask seal is good , however there is a leak of 19L/hr. What could be the problem here ?

Probably just the fit of the mask.  The P10 pillow mask is one of the easiest masks to use, but you may be using the wrong size pillow.  We often find that we need a size larger than we think.  The pillows should not be inserted into your nostrils, but just a tiny bit.  

Also, the ResMed machine can handle leaks up to 24L very well.  However, small leaks from movement can disrupt your sleep so the lower you can get it, the better.

We would be able to give a more definitive answer if you would show us a screenshot of your data.

Download the OSCAR software.  Be sure you have a SD card in your Cpap.
