[Treatment] Efficiency of nasal APAP
#1
Efficiency of nasal APAP
Hi all, is it a possibility that only breathing through one nostril at a time with cpap, affects the quality of treatment? If so could it explain why I am yet to feel better with treatment? I’ll attach some Oscar data.
Secondly, could trying a nasal dilator improve my experience with the APAP?

RE: Efficiency of nasal APAP
Not sure but why is your lower presure is so high. It has no sense to use apap like that...
I would say you need 7-15 and than regulate to proper value depending on results. This way you get better sleep quality.
Like that it works more as cpap not as apap.

I sometime have one nostril closed. No issue there. AHI stays same. Specially when i catch cold. But simple xylometanozolinum spry for kids  safes the night.

I'm with nasal mask already 3 years... Is really good ting if you sleep with mouth closed. I started 5-12cm now on 7-13. I had to less air and could not sleep, so adjusted to 7. Works like charm. Advise play with mask regulation. If you do it right you almost dont feel it on your head.
