[Treatment] Need help interpreting this data

Need help interpreting this data
Hi,

I'm new to this board, and was somewhat recently (2 months ago) diagnosed with sleep apnea. I decided to go get a sleep study because I was falling asleep in my classes, and I've fallen asleep while driving about 3 times. I'm 20 years old, turning 21 soon, and I've had my APAP for about 2 weeks now, and my AHI isn't under the therapeutic 5 AHI. If anyone could help me interpret these results and offer me any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. I called my doctor yesterday, but what he said didn't sound too convincing. (Basically, I should come in and discuss lifestyle changes and/or medication options because my sleep apnea is mild and I should be feeling better). The first 3 nights (night of 8/18, 8/19, 8/20) I was using a medium size mask, but it didn't seem to be fitting properly and kept slipping off at night, so I switched to a small, and it felt like a better fit.

Your leaks on this particular night look good and not too many CAs. I would increase the minimum pressure to 7 or 8 and see if that doesn't help. It looks like it is taking the machine too long to get to an effective pressure.

If you do not know how to adjust your pressure you can get a clinician's manual by following the CPAP Set-up Manuals link at the top of the page.

Thanks for the image, Mongo

Best Regards,

PaytonA
