[Treatment] New APAP/CPAP user, how do I interpret these results?

Hey all. I finally picked up my DreamStation AutoPAP yesterday and used it last night for the first time. I was surprised to wake up with an AHI of 14! I'm not sure what my AHI would be normally because the take home sleep test I did was inconclusive, but I thought my results would be a little better than an AHI of 14. Do any of you have any suggestions?

Follow the tutorial on Organizing Your Oscar Data in my signature links. You can take a screenshot of the daily details chart and attach that as an image to your post.

At this point your events are nearly all central and hypopnea. This can be therapy onset central apnea, or it may have been present in your diagnostic study. I would check the Flex setting, and if it is at 3, turn it down to 1 or 2. In general people with predominately central events, do better with a fixed pressure and low levels of Flex or EPR. If you are unsure of how to check your settings, just get the clinician manual for your machine from the CPAP Setup Manuals link at the top of this page. https://www.apneaboard.com/dreamstation-...structions
