And that points out the value of what I am looking for...a page/document with ALL models across in columns and capabilities/features listed down the rows.

At some time in the past, I came to the conclusion that the S9 AutoSet CS was the same machine as the VPAP Adapt (ASV machine). It's either the exact same machine with a different name, or something very close. I didn't do a really through analysis, though. The ResMed machines with "-A" have an additional section between the blower and the humidifier which is a loud alarm to wake you up if you stop breathing long enough. You can see it in this picture for the AutoSet CS-A. It appears that the CS-A also has "pacewave" in addition to what the AutoSet CS has. ResMed and Philips seem to have a hardworking team on their websites making them more difficult to find information and changing things so that even if you found the information in the past, it won't be there if you go and look now.
Get the free OSCAR CPAP software here.
Useful links. Click here for information on the main alternative to CPAP. If it's midnight and a DME tells you it's dark outside, go and check it yourself.

Offer a dizzying array of models and options. The same sales strategy is used by automobile manufacturers. Apparently it works.

Since OSA "treatment" is EPAP adjustment, and Adapt can use either a fixed settable EPAP or autoEPAP, why would that not be checked?

But the table is to list features and capabilities is it not? And if it treats complex SA, which contains OSA + CSA, then obviously is treats OSA. Their listing is inconsistent. What is the spell out of CompSAS, CSA/CSR as listed in the table?

Back then, the original S9 VPAP Adapt did not offer the ASVAuto mode (automatically adjusting EPAP). I have this older model. This model had only two therapy modes, CPAP and the original ASV mode (fixed settable EPAP).

Indeed, treating OSA was the reason for the original CPAP set-one-pressure machines. I often wonder if the only difference in these machines is the software package that is loaded on them + maybe a motor difference once you reach some level. Oh, do you kbow what is the difference between the 36037 or 36067 models? I thought there were only 2 pn's for the Adapt. |
