UARS

UARS
Hello all,

Does anyone have a Sleepyhead example of what a classic UARS breathing waveform would look like. My doctor in his initial assessment mentioned that my diagnosis might be UARS with OSA. If I remember this had something to do with a high amount of RERA and flow limits. My RDI was much higher than AHI.

I'm just curious to see what it would look like on Sleepyhead. Additionally, what works best for this as in fixed pressure, variable pressures, pressure support or some other type of machine.

Thanks.

There are several graphs you can compare to what you are experiencing.

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.
