Iceman,

Hope your camping trip went well!

Those numbers look very similar to my own. I usually have an AHI of 2-3 and it fluctuates from 0.5 to 4.5. My fluctuations correspond to how much sleep I get and that usually is dependent on stress levels.

I think you are getting good treatment my friend. How do you feel?
Jesse

Hi Jesse,

Trip was good and Yes I actually feel real good, more time I get out side the better I feel &  sleep, I am  now doing some yard work keeping busy and with my AHI Numbers improved and see if staying now more  consistent may also look try out Cervical Collar if can handle it around neck as presently just been  cuddling a pillow up under chin to assist dropping Numbers ?  I also still monitor on my CA if keep improve ?  How many CA is concern and or considered as complex sleep apnea ? Is my CA  AHI I should be concerned?

That's great to hear Iceman. I can attest to the outdoors being a definite mood booster for myself as well. Sunshine and fresh air suits me well.

The cervical collar has helped many on the forum recently. I have not clearly seen any indication that you require one in your charts, but, if it can fix a few apnea each night and you have zero problems with wearing a collar comfortably, I say go for it. Just don't break the bank going after one. I've heard of others rolling a towel up and tucking that under the chin. You may get a feel for a collar that way. If you decide to go after a collar, the partial collars that do not completely wrap the neck are available like "The Eliminator" or the more expensive version from "Dr. Dakota."

The wiki has a definition on mixed and complex apnea.

Since you are seeing more consistent numbers and the numbers indicate that you are treated, I don't know if you should be worried about it, especially since you are feeling good Smile
