Understanding Tidal Volume
I am using Bpap now and was trying to understand why my tidal volume was not improving.  I looked up the definition of tv and discovered that
"In a normal young human adult tv is about 500ml per inspiration or 7ml/kg of body mass."
Based on my body weight (120lb./54.4kg) my TV should be 380.  My median is usually 360.  I am doing better than I thought.

Just found a thread that explains all this...
