Primer on reading Sleepyhead data and graphs
Aside from the obvious stuff like AHI, pressures, event flags and etc., has anyone here posted a thorough explanation here about interpreting tidal volume, minute vent, insp. time, exp. time and how this data relates? I would like to better understand what I am looking at.
Thanks

RE: Primer on reading Sleepyhead data and graphs
In an effort to better understand the data being presented by SH, I read articles involving the stages of sleep. Aside from the articles talking about the brain waves, I found it helpful to look closer at the breathing pattern descriptions during the stages of sleep and comparing them to my results. If you find any additional information, please post it. I would have posted a link to these articles but there seems to be about eleventy-million of them.

Check:
1- SlepyHead thread, the first half dozen posts by "RobySue"
2- Wiki
3- Provide manual glossary
4- EncoreBasic glossary

I've only looked at the usual suspects, things like: pressure, leak, events, snore and FL graphs

Edit: and ... usage ... anything over 7 hours is considered acceptable results
Actually, more than just acceptable results ... good results indeed ... Coffee
