Water in hose

Water in hose
Hey all, I recently was diagnosed with sleep apnea and bought an Airsense 11 autoset machine with heated tube.  The issue I am having is the tube will get water in it and several times throughout the night I wake up to gurgling sounds from the air passing through/around the water in the hose, so I have to unhook the hose from my mask and empty the tube out.  I have tried lowering the humidity settings (currently at 3) but does not seem to help.  I have lowered the temp of the hose as well down to 74F, started at 80F, I did not really like the air temp at 80, prefer 74 so far.  Suggestions?

Thanks!

RE: Water in hose
That is called "Rainout".  Place your CPAP below mattress level. Get a hose hanger that will suspend the hose above your head.  This will allow any condensation to run back to the humidifier tank. You can also get either a heated hose or a hose cover.

RE: Water in hose
It is a fabric covering designed to go around the CPAP hose to better insulate it from the ambient temperature.  Do an internet search using, "cpap hose cover", as your search term.

Also, since you are using a heated hose, increase its temperature setting.
