Well DUH and cpap machine rental

Well DUH and cpap machine rental
I am dumb as a box of rocks some times however looking back at my previously sleep deprived state I can cut myself a little slack.Oh-jeezOh-jeezOh-jeezOh-jeez

why oh why did it not dawn on me to rent a couple of different cpap machines to see what works best for me. Now I know this is an option I think I will rent an A10 auto and see how it compares to my current machine.
I use my PAP machine nightly and I feel great!

Many DME's don't provide that as an option and rentals almost always are done due to Insurance rules and via a DME.

Some DME's make you sign papers that say if your Insurance won't buy out your rental due to lack of compliance that you must. I don't know if it would stand up, and my compliance rates give me nothing to worry about, but that is what I had to sign to get it! I was not as informed as I am now, at the time. I really don't like how this field of medicine is managed!!!

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
  • Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
  • let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
  • gently suck to form a light vacuum

Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

I am a cash customer and no sleep doc no ins involvement.

A number of people here fit that category. Anyone with an Rx can rent a machine from at least one vendor on-line for about $100 and if you know what works for you the best you have a better tool with which to deal with a DME if you choose that route. Personally if I had to pay out of pocket to get what I really need for optimal therapy that is what I would do. Is what I did do.

I would be very interested to read a comparison review of the AC10 and the PR Sys1.
if you can't decide then you don't have enough data.

I think if you look around here or use the search function you will find said comparisons. However like masks I suspect it is a very personal experience.

Mark,

I will let you know after a few days with the Res Med A10 Auto. I just returned a Respironics Auto P560 that I have had for 5+ Months.
