What Do These Reports Mean?
I have attached my father's sleep study as well as a sample set of OSCAR reports. What do these reports mean? We are visiting the pulmonologist next week for his first in-office meeting. He was diagnosed right around everything shut down (early March).
Any intel you can provide helps. Does my father have a mild case? Is there something he can do to better treat the condition? Thanks!

RE: What Do These Reports Mean?
Why is there only about 1 hour each night. Cpap needs all night to provide therapy.

RE: What Do These Reports Mean?
First and most important. Eliminate his large leaks. These prevent the CPAP from being able to do it's job.

RE: What Do These Reports Mean?
According to the sleep study, your father has mild sleep apnea.
The leak rate is way too high. This prevents the machines ability to do and react to apnea events with any accuracy. In other words, when you have high leak rates, the numbers can't be trusted. It doesn't appear your father is sleeping more than a couple hours at a time, and that may be due to the leaks waking him. His mask probably needs some adjustment, or possibly a different mask. Read the "Mask Primer" for some tips on mask fitting. http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...ask_Primer
