What Makes This Period of Time an Hypopnea Event?
Hi

I'm still learning about CSA and apnea in general.

I haven't found the article here which explains the methodology behind the treatment and the OSCAR analysis software.

I think, based on examination, that the period of time in this graph which is marked by an H is so marked because the breath interval, indicated by Flow Rate, suddenly became 15 seconds rather than 10 seconds as previously.

Is this correct?

Thanks

Trevor

I have how Oa, H and flow limits are classified at the bottom of this post. All apnea are the same just time and how much the airway obstructs the airway
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed  Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing
