What's The Story Behind Apnea Board?
It would be neat if there was a sticky telling the history of apnea board. When was it started? Who started it and runs it? I don't mean peoples real names, just the story of it.

Great board, thank you for making it available to everyone.

Not sure if this would help, but it's a bit of history at least, go to the 2nd post in this thread:

That's actually what brought me here, this forum looks like it balances the two well. The other major forum believes in no moderation, which is as extreme in its own way as the hilarious story in the thread super sleeper linked to above about the forum that would get shut down on weekends and evenings.

There are a ton of great members at the other forum, but because there is no moderation a very small number of people are allowed to cause many threads to descend into flaming. Lots of drama and personal attacks on other posters, many who have come looking for help, some outright painful to read.

Much more pleasant atmosphere here IMO, which is as it should be on a support forum for a serious health issue.

BTW, I hope the balance the mods take between liberty of expression and control is better than the one taken by your avatar SHa_biggrin5.

It's not me, but rather our entire staff (Moderators & Monitors) cooperating with solid input from our super group of Advisory Members - that's what has made this forum work properly, IMHO.

Although I am the admin, we don't change stuff much around here without getting input and a consensus opinion from staff and/or Advisory Members.
