What was your response to pressure relief

RE: What was your response to pressure relief
I think whether you need pressure relief or not depends a lot on what your CPAP setting is or what your starting APAP pressure is. If the pressure is under 6.0 or 7.0, many people won't need pressure relief.

RE: What was your response to pressure relief
I think this is one of the missing posts! Smile My new machine has pressure relief and frankly I love it.The first time I used it I thought it was not going to work for me because it felt like the machine and I were totally out of sync. After just laying there and continuing to slowly breathe in and out within about 10 minutes we were in sync and have had no issues since. My machine has multiple levels of relief and I set mine on 2 just to see. Since I never had pressure relief before I had no frame of reference so I went for the middle of the road. I really like it a lot. Maybe if I had this years ago I would have been more compliant over the years!
As always, YMMV! You do not have to agree or disagree, I am not a professional so my mental meanderings are simply recollections of things from my own life.
