Where is the EncoreBasic datafile kept on Windows 10 and can it be changed

Where is the EncoreBasic datafile kept on Windows 10 and can it be changed
I use both OSCAR v1.0.1-r-1 and EncoreBasic v2.4.8.0 on a Windows 10 P/C.

The OSCAR dataset is in My Documents - good.

I can't find or don't recognize where the EncoreBasic datafile is kept.

I'd like to get the EncoreBasic datafile also iin My Documents so that it was a part of a focused backup routine that is sent to a LapTop.

Does anyone know where EncoreBasic keeps it's Windows 10 dataset and if it can be changed - maybe with a link or a hard-link?

Thanks.

Hello George, welcome to Apnea Board.

Hopefully someone can help you, but in the meantime, you may want to take a look at our Wiki page on EncoreBasic, here:

A lot of info there and perhaps something may be of some value.

Thanks for the link to the EncoreBasic write-up.
I've been using EB for quite a while and am reasonably familiar with it.
The only thing is where it keeps the data when the SD Card is loaded.
I've not been able to satisfactorily establish that.
That's what I'm looking for - the path to EncoreBasic's data store.
Thx.
Geo.

I have never used EncoreBasic but I found this solution on another website:
  • Enable "Show Hidden Files and Drives"
  • Go to "Your Drive">Users>"Your User Name">AppData>Local>Respironics>EncoreBasic>Data
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the path to appdata - that's what I was looking for.
Now I'll have to play W10's hard/soft linking mechanisms to see if I can get what I want.
Thanks.
Geo.

I’m glad it helped. Sorry I couldn’t help with changing where the data is stored.
