Thanks for all the advice
Hi, my first day on the site! I've found that my AHI at 28 is moderate, that my dry mouth & nose bleeds are not uncommon, that I've got this issue for life and I'm not the only one!
So, people, thank you for that!
Just two weeks after the CPAP trial (UK) I now get a full 8 hours sleep a night, I feel awake for the first time in years ( and worse, I never realised how bad I'd got). I used to wake every 2 hours thinking I just needed to urinate - that was never the case!
CPAP has, in two weeks, woken me up, realigned my brain and returned me to humanity!
If CPAP were a religion I think I'd be a convert! Sure, it's a pain wearing a mask every night, the soreness (only slight) around the points of contact and general nuisance of the system but all worth it.
Your comments (on other posts) have helped me to understand the condition and, over time will help to manage it so, thanks very much!

Wonderful. Great job.
You made your own success by educating yourself; and sticking to it.

RE: Thanks for all the advice
Congratulations!!! It gets easier and more comfortable as you go along. You will find little nuances that will help improve your therapy and adjust to any problems you havenow.

Congratulations and welcome. Once you get around to pursuing options, consider a nasal pillows mask. With your low pressure requirement, it just seems like a good choice to give you more comfort than the FF mask.
