Why do I feel lousier

Why do I feel lousier
Fairly new user, into my fourth month.  Started out with AHI in the 6 and 7's and made me feel better and not so tired.  Now am into my 2 to 4's, and feeling not so good as when I was in my 6-7's.  Why would that be?

You need to post a screenshot of your data.

Follow the tutorials in my signature line, set up a free account on imgur and insert a space in the link to post here.

We have no way of knowing why you feel bad.  Your data may give a clue.

Your profile suggests you are using a pressure of 20. Can you tell us the exact pressure range you are using, your AHI and breakdown of AHI?  Also, what is your leak rate?

With  a little more information from you, I’m sure we can help.

I will try and learn how to get the screen shots up.

Pressure range starts at 6.

Had an AHI of 4 two nights ago.  The app link gives me the following info........ Total clear airway apneas was 3, obstructive apneas 0 and total hyponeas 20.  Mask fit 100%, no leakage.  90% pressure 10.

Yes, please post a screenshot of the daily page.

We will be better able to advise once seeing your data.

With a 90% reading of 10, you can narrow your pressure range by setting the minimum at 8cm and bring maximum pressure down to 14cm.  See how that goes, and if CA events increase, you will need to back off on the minimum pressure.  If you are using Flex, try turning it off.

RE: Why do I feel lousier
If you were on a fixed pressure CPAP, the doctor would likely write a prescription for your 90% pressure of 10 cm. With the Philips auto CPAP, pressure is notoriously slow to rise in response to obstructions, flow libations, snores etc. So we often find users have considerable hypopnea when they are below the ideal therapeutic pressure. I think moving your minimum pressure upward in 1-cm increments will be helpful, and you can observe if the trend to reduce AHI and hypopnea is in the right direction. So my suggestion is to increase minimum pressure to 7.0 for now, and I could see where a minimum pressure of 8.0 is where we will very likely settle to minimize events and help you get more restful sleep.

Go to the top of the page, click on CPAP Setup Manuals,  and find your machine.  You can download it to your computer that way you will have it handy to look at later if needed.
