Why does ResMed AirSense 11 stay warm?

Why does ResMed AirSense 11 stay warm?
I  have a new AirSense, replacing a DreamStation. The ResMed stays warm on top by the power button. I'm wondering if the heat is generated by the machine's effort to broadcast data. My previous APAP did not have a broadcast function and did not stay warm when not in use.

If the AirSense is trying to transmit a radio signal, can I disable this function? I would like to limit EMFs, RFs, etc. by my head to just what's necessary. Wireless data transmission is not necessary.

My AirSense 10 stays warm all the time; I think it is a design feature ? of ResMed machines.

As fir the cellular transmission, that happens shortly after the end of your sleeping. Nothing is transmitted during sleep.

Your Air 11, like virtually all modern electronics (TV, computer, phone, tablet,...) is always on, unless it's unplugged. Even when it appears to not be in use. Being on, will generate some heat.

If you want to disable radio transmissions, turn on Airplane mode. This will disable cell and Bluetooth, so you won't get MyAir or device firmware updates. I believe you will get (daily) reminder prompts that Airplane mode is on that you will have to acknowledge. Upon turning Airplane mode off, all non-sent data will be uploaded to ResMed servers.

The little "on" light at the top of the machine seems to generate heat. I just turn it off for the day. I use passover humidification (no heat) and leaving the unit on would slightly warm the water.
