Wife still having issues

Wife still having issues
Hi, My wife (63 years old) has been on CPAP for about a year now. Still having a lot of CA & OA. For the last month or so she wakes with rapid heart rate sometimes.
Using an Airsense 10 with Resmed F20 mask. She does not like humidity or tube heat.
She wakes with dry moth almost every night which is a concern due to not having the greatest teeth as it is.

Any solutions that work for mouth breathing?
Is the pressure to high? Low?

Anybody have any clue of where to go from here? Sleep doctors here are clueless.

She is at min pressure 13.6. Any help appreciated.

Does she have any underlying health issues?

How did we arrive at such a high Minimum pressure?

Was CA documented in her sleep study?

High pressure can trigger CA.
Thank you,

--RecentCT scan showed an enlarged heart

--Started at 8 and complained of not getting enough air

--Do you mean clear airway? Dont think so..

I also think pressure is too high. We will try lower

Thank you for your input

Does she have CHF? Congestive Heart failure can cause central apneas = CA. CHF is most noted by lower leg swelling. Also called pedal edema.

It last can cause high heart rate some times as well.

Does she sleep flat or propped up on pillows?

When changing pressure go slow go down to maybe 12.6. Sleep on that a week if tolerated. Come back and post data from that. So we can see.
