Would Room Humidifier Help??
#11
RE: Would Room Humidifier Help??
I think a humidifier in the room you sleep in would do a great deal of good. You may have to keep the door closed so you aren't trying to humidify the whole house. My preference would be a media instead of a cool mist or ultra sonic. The media type doesn't produce the white mineral dust the ultrasonic humidifiers do.

You could also add a stand alone humidifier to add more humidity to the air you are breathing.
I am NOT a doctor.  I try to help, but do not take what I say as medical advice.

Another choice might be a whole-house humidifier for the winter months.  I assume you have enough humidity in summer.  Heated air is usually pretty dry. My thermostat shows 31% indoors today with 92% outside where it is snowing.  In very dry climates like at the ski area in Colorado, I have used a misting humidifier, and it helped quite a bit.

I'm using a warm mist humidifier by Vicks. I think it's a model V750 with a 1 gallon removable tank. I use it just to humidify the bedroom to add some humidity the electric baseboard heat takes away.
