aircurve 10 vauto. making noise
My aircurve vauto is one and a half years old and is starting to make a lot of noise.  Will the dme replace with a new machine or a machine with the same age as my present machine?or will it repair it?
Do they ever replace with a new machine?  Just want answers so I can have the information when I call them tomorrow.
Thanks

Much depends on the DME.

When my ResMed started making a lot of noise, I called Lincare and they wanted me to bring it in. They listened to it and said that ResMed would either repair it or replace it with new. I would have been ok with a repair, but they gave me a new 0 hour machine. I had to wait a few weeks though.

My ResMed was only a few months old when the noise started, so still under warranty.

RE: aircurve 10 vauto. making noise
At about ten months old my ResMed AirSense 10 started making a whirring sound.  I contacted Supplier #1 where I had purchased the machine and told them what it was doing.  I then sent it to Supplier #1 at my expense, they looked at it and sent it on to ResMed.  About 4 weeks later I got my repaired machine back.  Between shipping, and time at Supplier #1 and ResMed my CPAP was gone about six weeks.  Luckily, I could use my recalled, off gassing DreamStation, after I removed it from the shipping box I had it packed in, waiting to be returned to Philips for repair or replacement.

As to repair or replacement, Supplier #1 told me that it just depends what is wrong with the CPAP. All DME links removed
