baby steps...I actually slept!

baby steps...I actually slept!
No bad news here!!!

I took 10mg of Ambien last night, turned off the ramp on my machine, tested the mask for proper airflow, laid down, and that's all I remember. I did manage to finally sleep for 5 1/2 hours on the machine with a few wakeups. I was able to go back to sleep each time!! I feel a little better today, no side effects, and ready to accomplish somethings I've been putting off!

Leak rate 14ml/MN and .08 AHI

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
  • Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
  • let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
  • gently suck to form a light vacuum

Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

Way to go! I used Ambien many years ago. It works well with little side effects. Maybe it will help you get on track to quality sleep.
