PC crashed & data gone

Question
PC crashed & data gone
Hello all,

It's been a very long time since I last posted here. Hope you all are doing well during these difficult times.

To cut a long story short, my (very old) Windows 7 PC crashed and I lost everything on there. My backup didn't work so couldn't do anything with it and I'm now on a new PC with Windows 10.

I was searching for Sleepyhead but it seems that it has not been updated for a while and then found OSCAR in one of the treads. Has OSCAR replaced Sleepyhead?

Thank you in advance.
 Thanks

Yes, after the SleepyHead project was shutdown a group of us formed OSCAR which is a fork of the SleepyHead project.

If your original hard drive didn't crash and self destruct you should be able to mount it in your new PC and recover data.

You will need an SD card (any brand) that is between 2-32 GB in size. The oldest computer should have Windows 7 or newer.

RE: PC crashed & data gone
Hi all,

Thank you for all the information and advice.

I have a new PC with an SSD drive now and have started to install all the software that I can remember.

I will install OSCAR and start on importing the data. I have also upgraded my CPAP to the Airsense 10, so hopefully, everything will work out okay.

Thanks again and stay safe!
