beware win10 nov. update
I swear, every single windows update breaks something in my laptop.  last night's update, kb4524570 cumulative update for win10 1903 x64 removed all SH data & all but the most recent 8 days data in oscar beta9.  it also removed all the custom graph arrangements I had set up in these 2 versions and in oscar 1.0.0 testing-4 (4810300c) [Branch: qt].  my guess is other settings have reverted to default as well but this remains to be confirmed.

IDK what else the update broke or wiped yet but I will be surprised if I don't find other problems as well.

RE: beware win10 nov. update
I had problems when I first migrated to Win 10 in Aug 2015.  I had my computer revert for about seven months, and then tried again.  Since then, I honestly can't complain.  My only issues to date have been a number of blue screens with the 'We're sorry...just a few minutes to gather information and we'll restart for you.' Hours later, still no restart.  So, I do it the hard way. But other than that, everything works. No missing or dead-end apps or icons on the desktop.  Had no trouble converting from SleepyHead to OSCAR either.

I don't think you're sleeping right.  Too-funny

RE: beware win10 nov. update
I have been getting numerous onscreen 'reminders' to update the windows10 software. However, I hope to stall updating until they have worked out the quirks in it.

Apple does a similar thing with their updates. The last update for their software absolutely fried my iphone. I took it in for repair, Best Buy Geek Squad sent it in, and it turns out that Apple replaced the phone. Wasn't happy to have a phone default and have to download everything from the cloud.

From my experience, update 1903 is a total Windows 10 replacement.   Get it started and go read a book.  . . War and Peace is a good selection.   Then you will need to restart your computer to finish the install.  Another book is recommended here as well. .  . In Search of Lost Time would be another nice read.  Then you can update to version 1909 and its accompanying patch. By now, I'm recommending a nice wine and movie.  Maybe, Gone with the Wind?  (Spoiler alert: a Butler did it)

I forgot to mention that each update seems to reset some of the Windows services back to their default settings. If you modified your system, like IP assignment or fiirewall access settings, be sure to revisit them after All the updating.

with the home edition I haven't had the option to postpone updates until very recently & then only once for an optional update.
