what does everyone use to clean their machine and masks...any particular brand

I am referring to the band of detergent?

Any particular brand of mild detergent should work fine. I use dawn or something similar. Resmed recommends a mild detergent with warm (about 86F) water.

I first wash out the sink then fill it and soak the mask and frame using denture tablets. It has a slight minty scent afterwards.

FYI, while I use Dawn, it is technically not a mild detergent, but it is more effective at eliminating body oils and germs than many other products (some like Palmolive, leave a scum). You can also use babywash. Some people use water and vinegar (my bro's preference). Somewhere on the Resmed website, they recommend soaking only 2-3 minutes (not the 10 minutes I was doing previously) for masks.

Thanks everyone I have 20 gallon bucket with lid just designated for cleaning it,as a I use a vinegar soak. I throw the chamber and mask with out head gear in there to, but like the idea of the dawn and skin oils.

I use dawn dish soap too. Then rinse in tap water and vinegar. Final rinse with distilled water. Let air dry.

I use an antibacterial, liquid, hand soap for the wash, then rinsed in hot water, followed by a 15-minute soak in distilled water and white vinegar, and then rinsed again in hot water.    
The real key is to periodically clean your equipment - at least monthly and preferably weekly.
