clinical manual download
I am referring to this on your board: CPAP Clinician Setup Manuals Available via Direct Download:

These are Adobe PDF files. You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, available for download HERE
I already have adobe downloaded.  My husband knows about the computers (I'm an IBMer).  So I can't download Adobe PDF again he said.
Is there another way to get the clinical manual for dreamstation cpap (not auto)?  Thanks.

RE: clinical manual download
I found this site https://www.apneaboard.com/dreamstation-...structions  but it doesn't describe things like COMFORT etc.  I want a full description of my choices.  I cannot download adobe again (it's there already....husband said no to downloading it again).  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Go to the members private files section. On the list there's a link for downloading manuals. The one your requesting will require an e-mail request. The link will explain how.

You can receive your manual via email.  Scroll down to Section Three.  Look for Phillips Respironics machines.

At the bottom of the list are directions for requesting a manual by email. Follow the directions exactly.

Thelinica manuals Tel you how to change the settings and which settings can change when.

They do not tell you which settings will be more comfortable nor do They tell you how to set them up to treat your apnea.

Comfort is a very personal thing. If you tell us how you feel we can help you through it.

...and just to clarify about Adobe Acrobat Reader: The manuals come in a format called PDF (portable document format). They require Adobe Acrobat Reader (or a similar program) to open and read them. This is a very common way of sending documents on the internet. If you already have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you don't need another copy. Once you get your manual, your existing copy of Adobe will be able to open and display it for you.

Regarding viewing PDF files, I've find Adobe Reader to be a real resource hog on a computer.  It's a massive program, it's always updating, etc.

Microsoft's Edge browser opens up native PDF files just fine.  Microsoft Word opens PDF files too.

I'd remove Adobe and set the PDF file type to be opened by an existing program that you're already using.

I use PDF-Viewer. Free, integrates with browsers, etc. Adobe anything is a resource hog.
