I use nearly the entire H5i tank each night.
Your temperature is what? Above 100F and humidity > 35% ?
You should find an outlet on the Huntington Beach Pier and sleep there.
Breakfast at Ruby's !!!!
That is about where I was running with my S8 and I was coming close to emptying the tank every night.
At the pier I can cut the bottom off my humidifier and put it down in the ocean and get salt (the panacea)
and I will be hard pressed to run out of water. Will it negate my warranty by not using distilled water? Wait a minute, I guess it has been distilled, Do you think Resmed will accept that rationale.

Some meds can causes dry mouth too
Keep hydrated, saline sinus rinse and warm salt water gargle
Salt is a panacea for anything
Zonk,
My problem is that I was doing fine with dry mouth and then that changed for some reason. I have not changed any medications and I have been using the full face mask since March and not having significant dry mouth problem.
Salt is not the panacea for my fluid retention problems I am afraid.
I think you've answered your question "fluid retention"
Drink plenty of water and keep hydrated, a well hydrated body is less likely to retain fluids
Dry mouth is one of the side effects of water retention pills, something has changed now, maybe talk to your GP
