RE: correct Position for PAP Machine
Found a good folding chair with flat seat so it isn't on the floor.. Seat has a slight slant, only a couple of degrees.I got here straight from the hospital where i used their equipment and asked if they had distilled water. They gave me saline solution which I used two night before I realized what I had they had given me! Caught it and my spouse brought me in a jug of distilled. Had to clean out some residue from the tank. Seems to work OK--has a 0.00AHI last night and figures have all been below 1.

Saline solution? Guess that gave a hint of salty sea air.
Wish I could ID what that nurse put in my humidifier. Hospital Grade distilled or some other. Whatever it was, it was in a sealed rectangular bottle, about 1 liter I think, had about 2 inches left in the bottle after she filled the empty tub. Smelled slightly sweet too. Shoulda brought it home I guess.

Hope to hear you are back on your feet soon Sidesleeper. You seem to have the CPAP sorted out, now to strengthen that back and get back home!
