flow limitation #
1- Is it literally possible for a person to have 0 flow limitation?

2- In a chart, what would be an acceptable or tolerable maximum # for flow limitation at 95% & max?

I believe the answer to the first question is yes.

I don’t think there’s any answer to the second question. Suppose you had a 95% FL number of .85, but your graph showed that you had no FLs at all except for one brief .85 spike. That would be just fine. Now suppose your 95% level was only .11, but you were having FLs of that magnitude all night long. That would be bad.

The best way to see whether you are having FL problems is first to look at the graph: how high are the vertical lines AND how densely are they appearing on the x axis. Then zoom in on your flow rate until you can see the shapes of your inhalations. If they are mostly nice and rounded, all is well. If they are mostly flat, pointy, or double-pointed on top, then you are probably having FL difficulty.
