RE: got my new machine today

I've had my S8 Autoset II for around 5 years and it still works perfectly. My wife has an S9 Autoset which I don't like the look of; however, that new AirSense 10 looks like something that Darth Vader would use.
Three questions: (1) Has the need for therapy changed and the old machine does not do that (ie - change from CPAP to BiPAP)? (2) What does the new machine do better than the old one and are those things really important to your treatment? (3) Is the machine failing mechanically?
Now, there is a point a machine reaches which will dictate replacement: technical obsolescence (no support (parts, repair, technicial support)) or mechanical deficiency.
