help with chart
Can someone explain what this AHI graph means. And There are a lot of graphs, but I don't really know the meaning of 1/2 of them. Is there a site that explains all this?
Thanks in advance

RE: help with chart
That's graph, the AHI one, is a breakdown by time. Which means at that time when the graph is marked, at the current rate you are having events, your AHI is X. It is a confusing graph and I've never paid it any attention. Time is one of the components of determining AHI and is the most variable.
As for what it all means, http://sleepyhead.sourceforge.net/wiki/i...sers_Guide (may refer to older versions but the information should be the same) http://sleepyhead.sourceforge.net/wiki/i...p/Glossary http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=Acronyms Also take a look at this thread: http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...SleepyHead

Is there a site that explains all this? Sure, the AHI graph is your AHI (which is an average) over the one hour period shown on the x-axis. It's a good general indicator but not "the last word" in how you feel or if anything specific needs a little help. I have never understood the "by pressure" graph and never even look at it. A couple of other important graphs to take a look at are "Leak Rate" and "Pressure" and most importantly "Events" since this will give you a good overview. Also, you can rearrange the order the graphs are shown in, pin them to the top if you want, and hide those that you're not interested in.

I_will_never_sleep_again,
If you haven't read enough, here is another link that will probably be the same as the other links. The Beginners Guide to SleepyHead by RobySue: http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...SleepyHead I hope it helps.
