Which brand of wedge did you buy?

The reason for the right side sleep is the anatomical position of the stomach valves...apparently when sleeping on the right, the valve is elevated and this is suppose to prevent (or maybe release) any swallowed air.

The Wedge cushion is Avana Contoured Bed Wedge (AMZ) It begins at your waist and rises 8 inches. Most begin along your diaphragm. Its about $100, but I do like it better than the shorter wedges.

The other fix I was considering was to decrease my Inhalation pressure just a bit. But I have not done that...I still use 7-11 with EPR of 1
I also use a Dr Dakota cervical collar.

Good luck.
