I am very new- and I joined the myair website so I can get a report of how I did- My first night was last night- I tossed and turned quite a bit-also had to take the mask off and adjust several times--
My Airscore came back as 92- so I guess I did fall asleep sometime- but how does it know? the info is sent wireless-but does it count how many breathes I take? how does it know when I stop breathing?

RE: myAir-Dashboard
G'day cookie810, welcome to the world of hose heads Smile Your first night sounds typical - most people have trouble adjusting to the machine. Just hang in there - it normally only takes a few nights and all will come good. If you're bothered by the mask, many members here suggest you start wearing it in the evening while reading or watching TV, just to get accustomed to it before going off to bed.

Having read that other thread provided by Trish, I'd say MyAir is of very limited use. I'd suggest you get a copy of SleepyHead and use that instead. It gives you a far better understanding of what's happening on a breath-by-breath basis. It can look a bit intimidating, but that's only because it can do so much.
