new computer
I have a new computer and I would like suggestions on how best to transfer the oscar data from old to new.
I downloaded OSCAR & Smart Device Assistant ( sp02) and have them installed on the new computer.

I do have the SD card with the data..

I do have a folder with all the SPo2 data... ( just the .spo2 files , no text, etc.. i sorted those out)

any help would be appreciated.

thanks

RE: new computer
The best approach is just to copy the entire OSCAR_Data directory from the old machine to the new machine.
Useful links
Download OSCAR (current version is 1.5.1)

RE: new computer
In your Documents folder. The full path will be, "C:\Users\User Name\Documents\OSCAR_Data.

looks pretty simple .. I found the oscar_data where you said it would be .. copied it over to the new machine ( but it has a different user name, if that makes a difference) .. but in the same documents folder ..  open OSCAR and it can't find the files..
I opened OSCAR_Data to see what is in it..
log folder
profiles
preferences.mxl
profiles.xml

didn't see an actual data folder ..

any suggestions?

and I have 4 or 5 programs with activation codes .. they are just about impossible to port over. I suspect the programers made it difficult to prevent the use of unpaid software.

RE: new computer
Just copy the OSCAR_Data folder, not the entire tree. For example, if your old computer used c:\users\<your old name>\documents\OSCAR_Data, the name on the new machine should be c:\users\<your new name>\documents\OSCAR_Data. You must use the user name that you are logging on as on your new computer.

When you start OSCAR on the new machine, it should ask you if you want to create a new OSCAR_Data file.  Respond No. OSCAR will then present a file open dialog. Navigate to where OSCAR_Data is and click ok.  That should work.
