RE: sinus problems/eardrums under pressure
Unfortunately it toxic to canines so I won't have the powder in the house.
I use my PAP machine nightly and I feel great!

that is true. it can kill a dog. there was one in our news about a week ago that ate bubblegum with xylitol and died of liver failure. raisens and grapes have also killed dogs... one just needs to be aware of those things and keep them away from doggies!

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
  • Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
  • let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
  • gently suck to form a light vacuum

Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

my dog cleans the kitchen floor - it's a good reminder not to spill the xylitol... he hoovers any spilled coffee, pickles, sauerkraut, broccoli.... but will not touch an orange slice with a 10 ft pole! lol.
