sandman info software & card reader

sandman info software & card reader
My first post here on the forum so I would like to say a big hello to everyone.

Living in Ireland here and having the same problem a lot of people worldwide are having, access to my cpap data.

The software etc seem to be so prohibitively expensive.

I have a puritan Bennett sandman info cpap and really would love to be able to monitor my readings as I have been having some sleep disturbance issues. I have managed to get hold of silver lining 3. But not certain this is for use with my machine. Also it was released in 2004, so it is probably way out of date anyhow. Could anyone advise me on this?

I also don`t have access to a card reader. These also are so expensive for such a simple device. Is there anywhere I can purchase an after market version or maybe even a used but working one? I am tech minded also, so if any of you techies out there in apnoea/apnea land have a work around I would be delighted to hear about that too.

Thanks guys, and Congrats on a great forum.

RE: sandman info software & card reader
Hi iPhone
You,re right the software for the Sandman is quite expensive more than $300 from Supplier #1 (Supplier List).
If interested in data probably cheaper to get new or used ResMed S9 Elite or PR System One Pro from Supplier #2, both machines use SD card and don,t require special card reader.
ResScan software support the S9 and SleepyHead software support both machines.
Both software are free and available to download from this board.
Welcome

Welcome

Hi IPHONE and welcome to the forum.

Been checking out the net with Sandstorm and there isnt much to go on, found manuals on the machines and on the software and even both for sale at $269.00. Was looking for any info on compatability with other software but the information on this machine is limited. Your options are either change machine or fork out a packet. I had to fork out as changing my machine (NHS) wasnt an option.

Thanks for the information, it really is appreciated. I will check to see if I can change to a different type of machine.
