nose fine at night, but restricted/plugged in morning
just about all my life I have had my nose plug up during the night

have tried salt wash, nasal mist, not sure why it happens

most of the time it is just one nostril but both blocked is not uncommon in the morning.

I have heard the cpap humidifier can help with that, have tried regular humidifiers with no luck.

any one have something similar?

any help would be great

Just a thought: Have you checked with an ENT specialist to see if there is something that would help?

If your nosie is working right when you go to bed there is every chance the cpap will keep it open all night. My problem usually comes when my nose doesn't work right when I go to bed. One thing that has helped me some that might help you; I no longer use one of the miserable cats as a pillow. I have gone to one of those funky shaped foam rubber things instead.

If both sides get blocked at the same time ... talk to your doctor and get a referral to see ENT. One side is called "nasal cycle", one side get blocked but you can breathe freely on the other side.

Some can get by without using humidifier and have no problems and some cannot live without it ... everyone/nose is different

I have always had nose and sinus problems. I use c pap with a Fisher Pakel humidifier. I seldom have problems at night with my nose. It's usually stuffy when I get up in the morning.
