o2ring not detected by PC
Im using the o2ring for some days now and I wanted to access results from the PC but it wouldn't work. I plug it with the usb cable that it came with, it starts charging but nothing on the PC. When I open the software it says "No device connected". Im using Windows 10. Any ideas??

Can you do anything special on this PC software that you cannot do on the phone? I just wanted to see the graphs on a bigger computer, like zooming in and out and stuff, but if you just do the same (generate as CSV or PDF) I shouldn't even have installed this chinese software, now im paranoid it has some keylogger on it or something.

I have had similar issues (running Windows 11). In my case, it wants to talk via Bluetooth (I assume to the phone app) so it will not connect wired. What works best for me is to open the proprietary O2 Insight Pro program (see Wellue website) on the computer with the cord plugged in, wake up the ring, and immediately plug it in the cord. It will initially show it is charging but then it will switch over to an icon with arrows going each way and the computer O2 Insight Pro program will reflect that it is accessible for download. The O2 Insight Pro files can then be imported into Oscar. A word of warning. The plug end of the charging cable is somewhat fragile.

What is the name of the program you are trying to access the O2Ring's data?   If it is different from the one listed by RainbowFish, look at Supplier #40 for a free download.

RE: o2ring not detected by PC
I've been using an older version (v1.0) of 'O2 Insight Pro' on a Win7 PC. I just noticed on their website a newer version (v1.8.0) which later this morning I'll install on a Win10 PC and see happens. I have been able to use both the PC with the special USB cable and Bluetooth to get the O2Ring data. I mostly use the PC to look at data every morning and save a PDF.
My wife has been using the older version software also  on her Win10 laptop with no issues.

This is the link to the software at the Wellue website........

I have had problems with the special USB cable when it gets older where the internal wires have broken off from their solder connections. When this has happened the ring may not connect to the computer. You have a new cable so I wouldn't expect this to be the problem. I have been able to resolder the wire when this happens.

Successfully installed the latest version on a Win10 machine, as well as my regular Win7 PC. On the Win7 PC the program didn't open initially and I ended up installing the 'VC++Runtime Library' which I didn't on the first try which seemed to allow the program to open. Also did a restart of the PC as well. Both the Win10 and Win7 recognize the O2Ring  and import the data.

You might try a different USB port to see if that makes a difference. Also jiggle the USB connection plug while it's inserted. Perhaps the connection in the USB jack is not connecting as it should.

Hi, i've tried again today, I uninstalled it the other day, installed it again, opened the program, plugged in the cable, then I pluged in the ring with the program opened, the ring went on and it worked. However, I can only see 4 readings, whereas in the phone app I can see a bunch. I forgot that it only saves the last 4 I think. But I have them all on the phone app. I will post them later.

If you are not aware, you can connect your phone to your PC via the phone's USB cable, and the PC will see the phone as a storage device. You will have to accept the connection on your phone to proceed. Once connected, you can navigate to the Viatom directory on the phone and download any or all the O2Ring's data files.

Im not sure if the pdf files are in there or you have to generate them from the app. In any case, I just sent myself the pdf files over email. What i've noticed is the pdf's you get from the phone app are simpler, they aren't 4 pages with zoomed in data. Is it possible to get the more accurate pdf versions that the pc software generates? I would like to get these older days in detail, but like I said it only allows to download the detailed pdfs from the last 4 readings connecting it to the pc software. Here's an example from one generated from the phone and one from the computer.

Like I said before, I don't see any o2 drops, so it's confusing. At least according to this, no apneas? But how do I get I get no apneas because the jaw is not a problem, no clogged nostrils, or just because my sleep is not good enough to go into rem mode where you are not controlling your jaw position etc which is where you would see apneas? if it makes sense. That's my point. Im assuming I will need more info that the o2ring wouldn't deliver. Should I visit a professional next and hope they know what they are doing?

I've never used the PDF file. I only retrieve the raw binary data files. If you aren't getting the information you desire, by all means see a specialist.

RE: o2ring not detected by PC
For a while I was downloading the O2 ring data into the Wellue app on my MacBook Pro by connecting the ring to my laptop with the charging cable.  Then I realized I was really only interested in looking at the O2 data in conjunction with CPAP data.  Now I airdrop binary files from the Wellue Viatom iPhone app into my laptop and have OSCAR load them from Downloads via the DATA menu.

(Note that ResMed doesn't use DST, but Wellue does.  In order for the start times to match during DST, I have to set the hour back in each O2 file name BEFORE loading it into OSCAR.)

TBH, I also do it this way because I couldn't figure out how to get OSCAR to load data from the Wellue app on my laptop, but I was happy enough to be able to delete the Wellue app from my laptop.  If I'd wanted to print the O2 graphs, perhaps I would have kept using it.
