IPAP and EPAP are the same on the graph. Breathing in at one pressure and breathing out at same pressure.
There is nothing to separate.
If your friend had EPR set, then you would see a separate EPAP line as that would be a different expiratory pressure.

Since both pressures are one and the same, what would you achieve in separating them?

since epr is off, only ipap pressure is relevant, so if seeing the green line is bothersome you could turn the epap line off to reveal the red ipap pressure line.

Your friend is not using EPR. There is only pressure, no IPAP/EPAP.
